Tajumulco Pillow Case.
Tajumulco Pillow Case.
Volcán Tajumulco is not only the highest peak in Guatemala, but also in the entirety of Central America. Tajumulco’s past is shrouded in mystery much like the physical volcano itself is typically shrouded in mist and clouds. The volcano seems to have last erupted in the early to mid-1800’s, but reports are unclear and vary. Some also speculate that Tajumulco actually sits atop an older extinct volcano. Climbing Volcán Tajumulco is a popular tourist activity and offers spectacular views of Lake Atitlán and even the Pacific Ocean on clear days.
